FIMA Youth Summer Camp (FYSC) 2017 was held in Istanbul, Turkey. Organized by Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) and Hayat Foundation for Health and Social Services. The camp had gathered health professional students and graduates from 30 different countries including Pakistan, North America, Britain, Bosnia, Indonesia, Ghana, South Africa, and others.
The purpose of this camp was to unite Islamic medical students and focus on global health problems and solutions, robust on solution-oriented information and improving academic, social and cultural relations in future. The camp was held for one week starting from 16th July until 23th July 2017
40 Malaysian health-related students participated in the 1st IMAM Youth Camp, “Reviving Leaders Among Youths”. It was held on the 6-8 July 2018 at the Pusat Komuniti Ikram Gombak & Pos Kuala Mu, Sg Siput, Perak and was officiated by Dr Jeffrey, IMAM President.
Amongst interesting topics discussed was ‘Introduction to youth and leaders’, ‘how to become an inspired leaders and maintaining leadership qualities’. Speakers were among IMAM Excos (Dr Jamali, Dr Azlan, Dr Munawwar, Dr Aneesa, Dr Yusuf) and invited figures such as Ms Fatiha Shuib (Founder of 1moment4them), Ahmad Muizzuddin (CUCMS Students activist) and Dr Ahmad Mujahid Husni (doctor and musician).
