IMARET is a team under the umbrella of Islamic medical Association Malaysia (IMAM) formed in December 2014.

It is designed to respond to any natural or man-made disasters taking place in Malaysia and internationally.

IMARET had expanded it’s services to provide relief to non-disastrous areas with the formation of IMARET

outreach. Under these programs, IMARET focuses on the marginalised group, such as the Orang Asli in the

remote areas of Malaysia and the Rohingya communities living in Malaysia. IMARET relief activities focus on

medical, psychosocial, water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH).
